Nice food and friendly service. Kids menu was not designed by someone who has children. No child wants to eat coconut fish fingers with mango Chutney. Kids like plain and simole food.
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Brilliant experienced service,very attentive and all the food to a table of 18 was served with the minimum of fuss. Excellent quality and the food was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Compliments to the chefs and all involved. Excellent...!!
Delicious food and plate portions were just perfect. We managed the festive menu on Sunday and found everything to be just as you would want. The Trout boasts a really good cocktail menu as well as some really good draught beers and ciders.
We have had festive afternoon tea here two years running and we will b definitely going back next year. It is a beautiful place and staff go above and beyond the call of duty to get us what we need. Fantastic venue and great for xmas party's.booking well in advance is advisable as it's so favourable
Beautiful hotel with large very clean rooms. We stayed in an executive double with river view and the view really was perfect. We arrived early and the staff did their absolute best so we could check in earlier which in my eyes us excellent service. Every staff member we came across was a delight incredibly friendly and professional. The food in the Derwent Restaurant was out of this world and incredibly good portion sizes too. Honestly could not fault anything and look forward to returning in the future.
