Nice hotel setting and lovely afternoon tea with 4 stars as too much sweet stuff and not enough savory things. Excellent service.

Went for the afternoon carvery, the food was ok (school dinnerish) but very disappointed with the service, not made aware that we had to go and get our own veg and potatoes, then having to go back to the bar to get some table water also not enough cutlery for a 3 course meal. The bar staff was the most helpful there, will be looking for somewhere else for our next Sunday lunch.
Need to provide more attention to the customers. Beautiful grounds and scenery.
