Great experience camping. Fantastic amenity and great staff

If I come back the lakes I would stay here again. Decent rates per night, and you get what you pay for. 3 fields to choose from, there is a wash room with 2 sinks for dishes. Toilets are up to date, clean and warm. Nothing too fancy but was pleasantly surprised by them. The campsite is in a great location, nothing was too much of a drive. Windermere was the longest drive but you can easily stop on the way. Cockermouth 10 mins away for supplies. Very happy 5 days without a bad word to say.

Kid and dog friendly. Plenty of space and when the kids go to bed or hiking or searching for a Mcdonald and somewhere to charge their phones, nice and quiet. Cheap and cheerful.

Simple and very basic campsite. Quiet, fairly flat pitches in a scenic setting. Separate male/female toilets and HOT Showers! Wash room for pots. What more do you need for a getaway?

Lovely quiet location. Helpful management. A great base to unwind and relax. Very dog friendly and relaxed. We loved it and have booked again for the end of the month.
