We were well looked after near closing time and enjoyed the tea and cakes. We were the only customers there, but it was late.
Lovely food and great service. Visited for lunch on a Saturday, busy, but we managed to find a table for the three of us. Luckily, I resisted a starter as the main course I ordered was more than enough. The food was excellent, my steak, mushroom and onion panini was cooked to perfection, complemented with salad and coleslaw. A lovely lunch was had by all, I'll be back and next time I might opt for the all day breakfast, it looked lush.
Superb friendly Cafe with delicious food the menu is excellent , plenty to choose from and very reasonable too . Best Cafe in Cockermouth by far .
What a little gem found it by accident.I had pensioners meal. Carrot and lentil soup which was excellent, a sandwich with lovely fresh bread, cup of tea and slice of cake. What more could anyone want?Staff were friendly will certainly go back when in cocketmouth again.
