We have never been to this pub before and we were made really welcome and given great bar service. Had a lovely couple of hours sat on a barstool watching darts....only called in for one!! But felt so chilled and comfortable, stayed for 4!

this is a great pub to go and visit the staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you the weekends are good too as they have bands on and the atmosphere is great!! the beer is reasonable so yes I recommend this pub especially if you go to Cockermouth
Very accommodating when wanting a specific football match on. Manager/owner changed all TVs and even put sound on. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and cheap beers! Child friendly atmosphere! Will come again, thanks.
